Connecting . . .

IMG_2663Since I started writing my blog, I’ve not ceased to be humbled to be “followed” or “liked” by others, including fellow bloggers. I’m in turn enjoying following other people, checking out their websites, reading fascinating articles and simply expanding my world view.
And based on just my own limited foray into the world of social media (no, I don’t do Facebook, and I’m a relative latecomer to the online blog), the power of good people sharing, for the right reasons, their highs, their lows, their surprises, their delights, their knowledge and ponderings – well, I’m convinced that they should never be underestimated for the difference they might make to someone’s day, life or relationships.
But last week I was touched to the core to be “liked” by someone who is writing from what I sense, and from what she shares online, is a hugely challenging starting point.
Her blog is different in style and purpose to mine – and that’s great, I love our diversity – but I was nevertheless drawn completely towards a recent blog she wrote about positivity.
In the midst of how she might be feeling, and her very honest postings about the challenges she is facing to find herself, I thought this was utterly amazing.

No, she is utterly amazing.

Dear blogger, you have given me even more conviction that positivity is a powerful message. Thank you for connecting.
