My passion in life is people. My specialism is coaching and leadership development in the workplace.
Encouraged by friends and colleagues to share my reflections and observations, I do so here simply to share my experiences of coaching others through critical career transitions and leadership development.
I do this from the position of an Executive Coach and also a Learning and Development Professional who has worked in both private and public sectors with leaders at many levels, coaching for confidence and to improve performance.
The starting point for my reflection is my holistic, integrative approach to coaching which uses positive psychology and emphasises the whole person. In encouraging people to develop their leadership capabilities and emotional intelligence, I am keen to observe relationships, self-limiting beliefs, de-railers and leadership styles and to consider views through a different lens.
In addition to 1:1 coaching, I retain a particular interest in encouraging leaders to use coaching skills in their leadership role, in helping people to grow self- confidence, and to supporting colleagues to reflect on their own leadership style with a view to occasionally doing it differently.
