I was reminded of a recent blog (The Bawtry Monolith) . . .
A friend who knows a thing or two about working in industry, business and particularly in HR during a glittering international career, confessed to being surprised how much their relationship with a peer had improved once they’d met him face to face. What had started off as a few sticky, long-distant telephone conversations was enhanced by meeting at a residential where they bonded over dinner. A free bar and some late-night dancing might also have helped . . . but regardless of how it happened, that face to face contact was the key to forming what is now a great working relationship.
It’s simple really. As the erudite Mr Steve Radcliffe suggests . . .
