The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people who are relatively unskilled suffer from an “illusory superiority” that makes them assess their ability much higher than it really is. Hmm . . . “The Foole doth thinke he is wise, but the wiseman knowes himselfe to be a Foole” (As You Like It).
