Happy viewing . . .

“It’s so difficult, isn’t it?  To see what’s going on when you’re in the absolute middle of something?  It’s only with hindsight we can see things for what they are.”  S. J. Watson (Before I Go to Sleep)

I attended a wonderful NLP workshop recently where I had the chance to lose myself in a perceptual positions activity.  There was a time when I felt uncomfortable using this practice, but at this particular workshop, something clicked into place and it worked for me.  Seeing a situation I’d been pondering over from all angles, through many lenses, from others’ perspectives, was suddenly sensible, comfortable and powerful.

Hindsight may be the gift of the smug, but I’m putting a positive spin on it now  . . . and seeing it as the joy of the reflector.
