According to the Pew Research Centre, around 90% of 16-29 year olds use social networking sites, and 77% of them own a smartphone.  Yet nearly half of them report “reading a book – in any format – on a daily basis.”

So apps and games and videos and messaging and surfing haven’t quite caused a complete decline yet in this most wonderful pleasure!
