Keep calm and . . .

Viv Groskop summarises the thoughts of Bonnie St John and Allen Haines in their book, Micro-Resilience: Minor Shifts for Major Boosts in Focus, Drive and Energy which looks at why and how we can become “emotionally hijacked.”

The bottom line?  In order to overcome a tendency for “awfulising” (we call it catastrophising in our household), just remain calm.

Easier said than done, as we know, but good reading nevertheless.
