Getting better . . .

Wrong, right

 

Do you often feel that you’re getting it wrong?

 

I ask that question of you, because I coach so many lovely people – especially managers – who are constantly telling me that they are.

 

And while I will always have empathy with your plight, I wish you’d have a little self-compassion . . . particularly if you’ve been in role for only weeks or months.

 

Who among us, when starting off on that management trek, doesn’t need to ease into the role gently, to learn from others, and to take some time to make the transition from practitioner to leader of people?

 

So what if, instead, you focused not on what you’ve got wrong, but on something much more positive . . . on getting better?
