Who’d have thought . . .

Shakespeare2What did Shakespeare know?

Chairing a meeting, presenting, making a speech?

Brevity is the soul of wit.

A decision to make?

Go wisely and slowly. Those who rush, stumble and fall.

Get your facts right

Things won are done; joy’s soul lies in the doing.

Get the facts, and then . . . trust your instincts.

I like not fair terms and a villain’s mind.

When times are tough, focus on the end game, your goals . . . and keep going.  Notice the little things.

Strong reasons make strong actions.

A little self-awareness required?

We know what we are but know not what we may be.

Be creative, go for it!  You will get there.

How far that little candle throws his beams!

If you get it wrong, own up

And oftentimes excusing of a fault doth make the fault the worse by the excuse.

Face up to that difficult conversation

It is a tale…full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Listen

How poor are they that have not patience? What wound did ever heal but by degrees?

I guess Shakespeare knew a thing or two.
