“Make no judgments where you have no compassion.” (Anne McCaffrey)
This week my patience was tested. I became so, so close, to having a word with the builders next door who thought it acceptable to start up their motors and diggers and drills and saws at 07:00 each day.
What stopped me?
- Well, a little self-control, obviously, and also the understanding that (hopefully) everything shall pass
- The building work will be short-lived
- My neighbours are lovely, generous, considerate people (they take in my parcels regularly) – we’re lucky we have such great people living next door
- Perhaps I’ll need to call in my own builders one day to makeover my garden.
