A lovely friend shared with me how an aspect of their world had suddenly opened up because of strong, clever, appropriate networking.

And I too have experienced the power of networking on so many occasions.  It’s a wonderful feeling – to have a critical friend, someone to give feedback, a collaborator, someone to work in partnership with.  It’s the way I get things done around here.

So for anyone who’s still scarred by the cocktail and business card in hand days of an awful networking situation . . . forget it, please.

Good networking must be on your to do list.
