BBC journalist Ross Hawkins joined the Peck family on their sofa to watch last night’s TV grilling of Jeremy Corbyn and Teresa May.

Fascinating as it was to hear their wonderful sofa politics, a particular moment in their conversation really made me smile – when Jeremy Paxman was described as not just smug, but as arch-smuggy.
