True power . . .

Someone you work with not pulling their weight, not chipping in?

The answer?

Invite them in, don’t jump to conclusions, start a dialogue, invite them in … just a few ideas in an excellent article by Carolyn O’Hara – How to Work with Someone Who Isn’t a Team Player.

You’ll make your own mind up about what you like from Carolyn’s message.  The takeaways for me were:

  • People aren’t always what they seem
  • First impressions are important – but they can so often be wrong!

And the biggy?

  • We each have a choice – we can decide how we respond to someone.  That way true power and strength lie.
