I must be honest. I’ve only just come across this word. Technostress. Fascinating!
So fascinating that I started searching, and found another equally delightful one …Dr Larry Rosen’s iDisorder: “changes to your brain´s ability to process information and your ability to relate to the world due to your daily use of media and technology resulting in signs and symptoms of psychological disorders – such as stress, sleeplessness, and a compulsive need to check in with all of your technology” (Dr Larry Rosen).
Oh dear.
I do hope I’ve not got it.
But fear not. Dr Rosen advises that by applying a few, simple strategies, “we can safely emerge from our TechnoCocoons and rejoin the world of the healthy.”
Good.
I feel better now.
(Oh, and isn’t TechnoCocoon another wonderful word?!)
