I heard someone say that “pessimists are never disappointed.”

It may be true.

But also a little sad.

Sometimes it’s good to be disappointed if your expectations are so ridiculously low or high that they’re equating to being judgemental.  And if that means you can be surprised and delighted by finding out something amazing about someone, then that’s got to be good.

OK, maybe disappointed isn’t exactly the right term, but you know what I mean.
