Never truer words . . .

I saw this …

“Academic Twitter friends: can you provide a tweet worth of advice to PhD students?  Things you wish you knew when you were in the midst of your own PhD? Things you wish you told yourself?”

This was one reply:

“Make friends. Resist competing against peers and make friends. Do for each other. No one thing will ever add as much value to enduring and flourishing in the long run of your career as a truly solid foundational network of peers. (Corrine McConnaughy)

Quite poetic.  Thank you Ms (I’m guessing, Dr?) McConnaughy.  Here, here.  Not just for PhDers the world over, but never a truer word spoken for leadership success.
