The classical Greeks captured the idea of a good or beautiful mind in the word eunoia (eu = beautiful; noia = mind).
Eunoia, it seems, is not only about clarity of thinking, and intelligence, but something that perhaps many of us hold even more dearly: goodwill, benevolence and humanity, and wonderfully, the ability to encourage these behaviours in others.
Surrounding ourselves therefore with beautiful thinkers, seems surely the way to go.
