3 minutes of your time . . .

Don’t know how to say what’s on your mind?

Try this:

  • Get a piece of paper and a pen.
  • Set a timer for 3 minutes.
  • Begin … and simply write down everything you want to say.  Don’t worry about grammar, punctuation, corrections, syntax.  Just write.  Stop when the timer goes off.
  • Pause, take a deep breath.  Read what you’ve written.  Correct it/change it if you really need to.

Use it as the basis for that next difficult conversation.  It might just work.
