The message is clear . . .

Staff at Kellogg’s UK office are enjoying their 15th year of the Kellogg’s Summer Hours scheme.  Running from May to September, it enables office-based workers to finish work any time from 12pm on a Friday as long as they’ve completed a full week’s hours.

The rationale?

Kellogg’s says that “more time away from desks as the weather warms up will boost productivity and give staff flexibility to enjoy long weekends, pursue hobbies and spend extra time with family and friends.”

And more than that:

“Research shows people who feel they have a good work life balance work 21% harder than those who don’t.”
