Note this . . .

I learned that Leonardo da Vinci carried a notebook around with him so that he could jot down his thoughts and ideas as they came to him.

This appeals.

Fast forward to the 21st century, and it might indeed be a notebook … or a notes app on your phone, or a voice recorder, or any one of a host of the fabulous technologies we have to hand.

Thinking, reflecting, capturing our thoughts on the go . . . between meetings, in the car (not while driving it, please), on the train, in the supermarket, on holiday, in the middle of the night, watching the telly … who amongst us hasn’t done at least one of those?  It’s so easy if we want it to be.

Signor da Vinci created around 14,000 pages of notes in his lifetime.

Some going, eh?
