Phoebe Waller-Bridge praises the truly wonderful Olivia Colman, an actress she has worked alongside, and for whom she wrote the delicious stepmother part in Fleabag:

“The key to why everyone loves her is that, as well as admiring her monumental talent, people can sense she’s about the real stuff.”

I’m taking from this that Ms Colman must be 100% authentic – she knows herself, she owns herself, and she is herself. Pretty incredible I think for someone who earns a living playing someone else. I wonder what we might all learn from that?
