Thank you, thank you, thank you . . .

I read an article about workers tipping their peers as a way to say thank you for great work.

I’m really not sure – but don’t want to dismiss the idea wholly … it might just catch on, and I’d be looking back in years to come, red-faced at a blog so completely out of tune with majority and innovative thinking if I’d dared to rule it out completely now.

But right now, I can’t see how it would work, and so I’ll stick to both private and public thank yous, an occasional card sent through the internal mail that lets a colleague know how much I’ve appreciated their efforts or how brilliant they are, and the odd email oozing nice words that they thoroughly deserve.

Can’t put a price on that.
