Here’s a thought . . .

cogsIan Caldecourt, senior consultant at Hemsley Fraser, suggests that to show off our leadership potential, we should consider “Moving in a circle of higher influence.”

This roughly translates to spending time with people at higher levels and grades, and being engaged in all aspects of your organisation and industry.  In short . . . “seek out things that are happening instead of working in a silo.”

A fine example of networking if ever I’ve heard one.
