And yet another lovely colleague shared with me a gem of a story …
She told me of a little psychology she employs to get her 98 year old grandma to agree to having her hair washed.  
Now my colleague is a whirlwind, an athlete, a woman who gets things done (she’s even won medals for it – seriously).  But when it comes to her granny, she doesn’t go in all guns blazing. No. She seed sows. You know – a story or two to set the scene, to implant in her grandma’s mind that washing her hair today would be a good idea, and that it’s most definitely her idea and no one else’s. 
Very clever. Working it out for yourself – isn’t that the best way to learn?
