At 27 years of age, John Collison is apparently the world’s youngest self-made billionaire.
It seems he’s not entirely comfortable talking about his wealth – understandable … who amongst us likes revealing our salaries? But when pushed, he had this to say:
“Mostly it [the billionaire thing] is just a calculator exercise. The valuation is predicated on us continuing to execute and launch very compelling products in a highly competitive space – so good signs, but still a lot to do.”
A tad surprising? Or simply a case of never giving up, of an honest realism that it’s never too late to keep trying?
