Yesterday I received this notification:

It took me by surprise – I’d no idea I’d been posting on this site for 1,000 days – but more importantly, I received this message as something incredibly satisfying and motivational.

A congratulations perhaps from an automated source, yes … but still powerful.

It made me think about the connection between motivation, praise, acknowledging effort and commitment.

Pretty powerful.
