Saying it out loud . . .

This was just one of many chalkboard messages seen while recently passing through a U.K. train station …

If that’s true, then yes, I hope that men do say it more often. But I’m more interested in the fact that this and other rather lovely messages had been posted in a public place for many to see, enjoy and reflect on – regardless of whether they’re meant to target a specific gender or some other protected characteristic.

If the message becomes a talking point, if it helps someone to take action on something they’d been avoiding, if it serves as a reminder that we’re not alone, then that’s a message worth writing … and certainly worth reading.

Congratulations to the railway company member of staff who took the initiative to speak up.
