I heard a political correspondent discussing the handling by one country of a world-renowned leader after an incident sparked by a not very diplomatic diplomat.
They asked whether to tackle, tame or tolerate the leader after their quite vocal commentary on the particular happening.
It made me think. Tackle, tame or tolerate. Could that be a mantra for working out how to deal with your own leader? Or is there something missing?
How about a fourth T? Talk.
Could that possibly be the trump card?
