Coco Khan writes a lovely piece about conflict, reference first the milk ownership battles she experienced while living in a shared house. Later, she takes the argument into the workplace:
And even though I’m a non-milk drinker, I fully understand that milk can be a serious issue. In their later years, milk seemed to obsess my parents so much – it always figured prominently on their daily shopping list – we wondered if they were bathing in it. But I digress. The point here? It’s sometimes the little things that can niggle us at work. Which, if left unsaid, escalate into huge issues that cause the sort of conflict Ms Khan so eloquently writes about. A reminder, perhaps, that a semi-skimmed Switzerland might not be a good place to visit.
