I’d been reading a lot about emotions, so it was rather timely when watching the television recently to have come across a wonderful reference to them there …

I was watching a property renovation programme where a couple where arguing about whether to spend money to renovate the house they lived in with a view to staying there, or to spend their cash on moving. One of them had a particular grip on the finances and kept mentioning it. But the other seemed less concerned with finance and more into feelings and their emotions . . .
